Any Questions?
Butterflies are among the most beautiful species of nature, are a joy to behold, and are a symbol of strength and transformation. The fluttering nature of their flights are both delicate and mesmerizing. The three-dimensional characteristic with the layers of glass makes it possible for each butterfly to "fly" on it's own without the need to be connected to each other as is usual in a sculpture. I love the freedom this media gives me!

The abstract, dark background behind five layers of glass gives the muted effect to the image colors that help give it such a deep three-dimensional effect that makes each butterflies the stars of the sculpture. As effective as it looks here, the effect can  only be fully appreciated by seeing it in person.
