The reference photo for this sculpture was taken when my wife and I visited Bear Creek Canyon in northern Utah. It is a beautiful place and is so peaceful at night. I took this photo when I was hiking on a road behind the cabin where we were staying. The road went up a hill and then curved and descended down to a beautiful valley. The terrain, trees, bushes, and general landscape reminded me of the hikes I would take when I was young and hiking American Fork Canyon about fifteen minutes from my home. The scenery and sensations brought back many good memories. The taste of the rocky mount water is so good, cold, and refreshing.
