5" X 7" X 2 3/4"D – Oil on glass, black nylon robotic spacers, six layers of glass total Value: $350.00 This sculpture was inspired by a photo of a family outing with my wife's side of the family in Provo Canyon in Utah during the summer of 2022. I took some artistic license in the composition, and I like the way it turned out with the creek in the foreground, the meadow farther in the distance, and the mountains in the background. The deer in the meadow also adds some interest, and was inspired by the fact that some children who went hiking on a trail nearby came across a deer in person. It scared them half to death and they were screaming in total panic!! Their parents bolted down the trail to them.
Looking back, I can't help but wonder if It all probably scared the deer more than the kids and parents! I'm just glad I wasn't one of the parents, who were probably having a heart attack hearing their kids screaming bloody murder like that! The sculpture is 7"W x 5"H x 2"D, oil paint on glass, with hard black nylon spacers.
